Lost Lagoon’s Swans

This was my fist time capturing swans on camera. I have to say, as they float peacefully like that, they really emanate a sense of grace and beauty.

  1. There are few things as beautiful as a swan on the water…very nice photos…well done…and yes, you captured their tranquility. Thank you for sharing it. 🙂

    • Oh, thank you for your kind words. I’m glad they come across that way to you, too.

      • You are very welcome, Eva. I know it’s hard to photograph water birds, they always seem to turn their backs to us right when we get the camera all lined-up and set for a nice shot…I had the same experience with a buffalo a few months ago…he kept turning as I approached and kept circling him…walked almost a 3/4 arc before I gave in and settled with what I had. 🙂

      • Wow, a buffolo would be awesome to photograph. So cool!

      • It was wonderful, Eva…check out my posts Field Trip to Antelope Island and Mass and Form…incredible, actually. I think you’ll like them. 🙂

      • I’d love to 🙂 I’ll check them out shortly.

      • 🙂
