Lovely artistry. Love the sky and reflection of the sun, colour and balance in the very bottom photo.
Patinaandcompany, thank you so much for the comment!
But I’m not sure which one you were looking at because the photos are on random and change positions with every view. Which one were you commenting on?
People at right on a beach, with sun reflecting at left and yellow/gold glow in a blue sky. Sunset.
Ok, I call that one ‘Beach Party’. Thank you again! I think I’ll take it off random now ;)
Beach Party–makes sense. That’s my fave.
Love the artistry. I think my favorite photo is of the Whiterock train. It pulls your eye into infinity. Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking what you saw.
You’re welcome! And thank you for the feedback. I really like the train as well but it doesn’t seem to get much attention until now :)
Beautiful photos! Glad you stopped by my blog so I can discover you!
Thank you! It’s good to connect :)
Beautiful pictures and paintings…~Patty
Thanks so much, Patty :)
You’ve captured some great moments. I especially like “Lonely Sailboat”. Did this photograph inspire the painting of the same name? My I ask what kind of camera and lense(s) you use in the photographs above?
Yes, the photograph did inspire the painting. I actually don’t use anything too fancy these days. Planning on getting a new camera in the soon but as long as you have something that can produce a high resoluction image and take angles and lighting into consideration, you can capture your subject in a very presonal way. Also, aperture is very important. A narrow depth of field will make your subject pop so unless you’re doing landscapes keep it at around f5 and zoom in on your subject. Thanks for the comment :)
And speaking of zooming in… while it helps with some cameras, keep in mind to only use optical zoom, never digital zoom. Digital zoom will stretch the pixels and give the photo a low quality effect.
Thanks for the tips! Today I’m going to buy a Canon 60D with an 18-200 mm lens – great buy at Lens & Shutter.
Great! How is the new camera working out, Giovanni?
Just bought it and am charging the battery, and formatting the card. Will update you when I learn how to use it effectively. Cheers!
Sounds great :)
I tried leaving comments on individual photos and was unable to. Any idea of what I am doing wrong?
I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong. Each page only has one comment field :) I’d love to hear your feedback anyways.
