/ April 24, 2012Lovely artistry. Love the sky and reflection of the sun, colour and balance in the very bottom photo.

/ April 24, 2012Patinaandcompany, thank you so much for the comment!
But I’m not sure which one you were looking at because the photos are on random and change positions with every view. Which one were you commenting on?

/ April 24, 2012Ok, I call that one ‘Beach Party’. Thank you again! I think I’ll take it off random now

/ May 21, 2012Love the artistry. I think my favorite photo is of the Whiterock train. It pulls your eye into infinity. Thanks for stopping by my blog and liking what you saw.

/ May 22, 2012You’re welcome! And thank you for the feedback. I really like the train as well but it doesn’t seem to get much attention until now

/ June 13, 2012You’ve captured some great moments. I especially like “Lonely Sailboat”. Did this photograph inspire the painting of the same name? My I ask what kind of camera and lense(s) you use in the photographs above?
EK Photography & Art
/ June 13, 2012Yes, the photograph did inspire the painting. I actually don’t use anything too fancy these days. Planning on getting a new camera in the soon but as long as you have something that can produce a high resoluction image and take angles and lighting into consideration, you can capture your subject in a very presonal way. Also, aperture is very important. A narrow depth of field will make your subject pop so unless you’re doing landscapes keep it at around f5 and zoom in on your subject. Thanks for the comment

/ June 13, 2012And speaking of zooming in… while it helps with some cameras, keep in mind to only use optical zoom, never digital zoom. Digital zoom will stretch the pixels and give the photo a low quality effect.

/ June 16, 2012Thanks for the tips! Today I’m going to buy a Canon 60D with an 18-200 mm lens – great buy at Lens & Shutter.

/ June 17, 2012Great! How is the new camera working out, Giovanni?
Giovanni
/ June 17, 2012Just bought it and am charging the battery, and formatting the card. Will update you when I learn how to use it effectively. Cheers!

/ August 10, 2012I tried leaving comments on individual photos and was unable to. Any idea of what I am doing wrong?
EK Photography & Art
/ August 13, 2012I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong. Each page only has one comment field
I’d love to hear your feedback anyways.
